Product Description

Common use

Tadacip belongs to the class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5). When sexual stimulation occurs, Tadacip enables a man's penis to fill with enough blood to cause an erection. In men with erectile dysfunction a blood flow to the penis is not enough to produce erection. The main component of Tadacip is Tadalafil, it relaxes smooth muscles, widens blood vessels in the penis and this allows blood to fill cavernous bodies and result in erection. After sexual act erection disappears as in normal circumstances. Erection cannot be achieved by just taking Tadacip, it requires sexual stimulation. Active substance of the medication is Tadalafil.

Dosage and direction

Usual recommended dose is one 20 mg Tadacip (Generic Cialis) tablet per day. Consult your doctor as you may need correction of your dose due to certain conditions you have. The elder people may be more liable to the side effects of Tadalafil; therefore caution is advised to exercise in this group.

Precautions

Tadacip should not be used in men with cardiac disease for whom sexual activity is inadvisable. There is no information about priapism when erectile dysfunction is treated by Tadacip, but in patients treated with with another PDE5 inhibitor sildenafil it may occur. If your erection lasts 4 hours or more you should seek immediate medical assistance to avoid permanent damage to your penis. Inform your doctor before to take Tadacip if you have abnormal penis, including curved penis and birth defects of the penis, had coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, angina, heart attack or heart failure, hypo- or hypertension, bleeding, stomach ulcers, diabetes, hyperlipidemia (excess of lipids in the blood), sickle-cell anemia, liver or kidney failure in history.

Contraindications

Tadacip is contraindicated in patients who are using any form of organic nitrate, either regularly and/ or intermittently as it is able to potentiate their hypotensive effect.

Possible side effect

Most common side effects of Tadacip are headache, myalgia (muscle pain), dyspepsia (upset stomach following meals) and back pain. Some patients may experience facial flushing (reddening), headaches, stomach upset, diarrhea, flu-like symptoms and nausea. In more rare cases low blood pressure, blurred vision and changes in color vision, and abnormal ejaculation may occur.

Drug interaction

Try to avoid grapefruit juice, alcoholic beverages, tobacco when you use Tadacip. If you smoke tobacco and take Tadacip concomitantly this may lead to a condition called NAION (sudden optic nerve-related vision loss). Avoid taking Tadacip with medications such as Erythrityl Tetranitrate, Isosorbide Dinitrate, Isosorbide Mononitrate, Nitroglycerin, Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate. Levels and toxicity of Tadacip are increased by erythromycin, ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), indinavir (Crixivan) and ritonavir (Norvir). Inform your doctor if you are taking Atazanavir, Bunazosin, Clarithromycin, Doxazosin, Erythromycin, Indinavir, Itraconazole, Ketoconazole, Moxisylyte, Nefazodone, Nelfinavir, Phenoxybenzamine, Phentolamine, Prazosin, Saquinavir, Telithromycin, Terazosin, Trimazosin, Urapidil as your Tadacip dose may require correction. Inform your doctor about all prescribed and over-the-country medications and herbal products you are taking.

Antivirals

A virus is a microscopic biological parasite that can multiply inside the living cells of the host. Outside the host cells the viruses consists of virions that may range in different size and forms. Some of the virions are so small that their size does not exceed the size of ribosomes, while the viruses such as vaccinia virus that are much larger than the most of the bacteria. Each virions consists of capsid that has a protein origin. The capsid helps to protect the contents of the viruses, determines what type of the host cells can attach and affect. Some of the viruses also contain lipids and carbohydrates that are compounds of the host cells. The interior core consist of the genetic material(DNA and RNA chains).

Virals infection begins when the virion attaches to the specific receptors on the surface of the host cells. For example HIV viruses binds to the CCR5 located on the lymphocytes. Then the virus penetrates into the cells and begins to reproduce. The virus replicates the genome and produces new proteins that form new cores and capsids.

Currently there are known more than 2000 of different viruses that may cause a viral infection. The viruses are spread in different ways. Some viruses are spread by insects, usually blood-sucking insects. Other such as influenza are spread through the air from one person to another. There are viruses that are transmitted through the blood, by the faecal-oral route(norovirus) and during sexual intercourse(HIV).

The preparations that are used for the treatment of virals infections called antiviral agents. The most known of them are Zovirax(acyclovir) and Valrex(valacyclovir). These medicines fit into the viral DNA(genetic material) and block its replication. As a result the viruses are unable to replicate and infection goes away. Zovirax and Valtrex are effective against Herpes simplex type 1 and 2, Varicella zoster(Chickenpox).

The transmission of viruses can also be prevented through the vaccines that contains the weakened or dead virions. Vaccines help the organism to produce antibodies that neutralizes viruses. Unfortunately, there are not available vaccines for the all types of viruses. For example, the vaccine for the HIV viruses is still not found.

Some people think that viruses can also be treated by antibiotics. However, antibiotics are used only for the treatment of the infections caused by bacteria and are useless for the viral infections.
